Prachuap Khiri Khan
Prachuap Khiri Khan Is located at the lower part
of the Central Thailand adjacent to the South. Comparing with
Chumphon, the socalled gateway to the South, Prachuap Khiri
Khan is like the stairs of the Central Thailand before entering
the southern boundary.
The Province nowadays is well-known for both Thai and foregin
tourists. There are the varieties of tourist attractions from
the 212-kilometer-long coastline as well as mountainous area
of fertile forests. As for the islands, Prachuap Khiri Khan
has a few small islands suitable for diving, for example Koh
Sing and Koh Sang. But if you are looking for an island with
terrific nature and with superb diving spots, we would like
to recommend Koh Talu, the most private and pristine island
of Prachuap Khiri Khan. |

How to get there
By car : Take the Highway
4 (Phetkasaem Road) passing Nakhon Pathom, Ratchbuir, Petchburi
and enter Prachuap Khiri Khan. The total distance if 281 kilometers
, and the journey takes only around 4 hours.

Location : About 9 km from Bang Saphan Noi District,
Koh Talu could be reached within 15 minutes by speedboats.Details
: With the shape similar to a boomerang, Koh Talu
is the most beautiful island of Prachuap Khiri Khan.
Located in the middle of the island is the most
beautiful bay of Koh Talu called Ao Yai. It is the
location of the one and only resort of the island,

Ao Yai
: Ao Yai has another name called Ao Sadet with the
2-kilometer lone beach which is safe for swimming.
The beach has powdered sand and crystal clear water.
At the front of the beach are beautiful coral reefs
very good for diving. Although the beach is considered
the center of Koh Talu, the area is still very peaceful
and serene.
Ao Muk : In the north of Ao Yai, there is
a path linking Ao Yai and Ao Muk together. Walking
there takes aonly about 5 minutes. Ao Muk has the
very white clean sandy beach just like the name
signifies (Muk means the peart). Some stony piles
at this beach create a strange yet beautiful scenery.
Ao Thian : Apart from the terrific beaches
and tranquil atmosphere, Koh Thalu's diving spot
is also there at Ao Thian at the south of the island.
Located not very far from Ao Yai. This place offers
crystal clear water, wonderful school of fish and
full privacy.
The Hole of the Island : The hole is at the northern
tip of the boomerang, and could be reached by speedboat
or sailboat. The hole is the origin of the name
"Koh Talu" which means the island with
the hole.
