Chonburi
Chonburi is a province for tourism for a very long
time. Only 81 kilometers away from Bangkok, it is very convenient
for Thai and foreign travelers to visit Chonburi although they
have only 2 days and a night during the weekend. Most popular
beaches of Chonburi are Haad Bang Saen, Haad Chom Tian, and
Haad Pattaya, where travelers may enjoy the lively nights at
clubs, bars or restaurants. As for the islands, Chonburi also
has many islands not very far from the land, those are koh kang khao, Koh Krok, Koh Sak, koh kang khao, and Koh Kang Khao ,

How to get there
By car
Bang Na-Trat route : Start from Bang Na Road into Bang
Pli Road. Pass Bang Pakong River, and enter Chonburi Town. The
distance is 81 kilometers.
Moterway Bangkok-Chonburi : This motorway will bring
you to the highway 36 where you can get to Pattaya very easily.
You can enter this motorway from Ram Intra Road (before reaching
Fashion Island Shopping Center), or at Rama XI Road. The distance
is 68 kilometers.
Sukhumwit route : From Sukhumwit Road, passing Samut
Prakan until you reach Amphoe Bang Pakong Junction, get into
the highway 34. Drive further on this highway and you will find
Chonburi Town. The distance is 93 kilometers.
Meanburi - Chacheng Sao route : Get the highway 314 to
Amphoe Bang Pakong. Then continue on the highway 34 to Chonburi
Town. The distance is 135 kilometers.
By Bus : From Ekkamai Bus Station, there are first classs
air-conditioned buses to Chonburi every 40 minutes from 05.30
am - 09.00 pm. You can get off at Chonburi Town, Amphoe Panasnikhom,
Amphoe Si Racha, and Pattaya-Sattahip. From Mo Chit Bus Station,
there are ari-conditioned buses to Chonburi from 06.30 am-06.30
pm. |

Location : Around 500 meters southward of Koh Si
Chang .To get there : There is no passenger boat
to Koh Kang Khao, you need to hire the motorboat
from Si Racha or Koh Si Chang instead. |
Details
: Koh Kang Khao is a very fantastic site for fishing
and squid fishing. Around the island are many nice
spot for diving. Whereas the eastern side of the
island is only a bare stony beach, the western side
is a nice. 80-meter-long sandy beach suitable for
swimming. This beach is serene and is the location
of the one and only resort on the island. Koh Kang
Khao Resort, where you can find lodging houses and
tents for rent.
Tips : It is cheaper to get to the island
by hiring motorboat from Koh Si Chang.
